How many students are there in one classroom at Holy Angels school?

When we designed our school classroom, we imagined it to be a well lit large space where kids can come to learn, play and interact with other students. We also avoid overcrowding of the classrooms to emphasise on the importance of the relationship of the teachers with the students.

Where are your teachers from and what are their qualifications?

At Holy Angels school, we believe in a mixture of local and international educators to provide the best education for your child.  Our teachers come from a range of countries and have trained in native speaking countries trained with teaching diplomas and degrees in education.

What curriculum do you teach?

​

For our Preschool and Kindergarten school, we follow the Singapore curriculum that focuses on preparing Young Children For School. In our Primary department, we have implemented Cambridge as our international curriculum and K-13 as the local content. How do you build character development amongst children?

At Holy Angels school, we follow and implement our catholic values to our staffs, teachers and students. Moral values plays a big role in our students character development and we instil the importance of community in this school and its surroundings. We have many social programs that involves the students in charity events to build their empathy towards others. We also encourage the parents to be role models in developing the child's character.

How do parents get updates on their children’s progress?

To know on the updates of your child's progress, we designed a simple and clear communication book. Through this book, the parents get to see the development of the students and feedbacks from the teachers on the child's behaviour and education in school.

Can parents contribute to the classroom experience in any way?

​

We welcome parent participation in all school activities. Parents become involved in a variety of ways from visiting into the classrooms to share aspects of their job role, or culture, to assisting with various school events and charity initiatives. Parents are also encouraged to engage in story reading sessions with their children’s class, art and craft sessions or during school outings. If you are interested in helping us out, feel free to let us know.

How do you ensure the high quality and consistency of the Holy Angels school program?

We strongly believe to provide the highest quality of education at Holy Angels school. Our staffs and teachers are trained yearly to keep up to date on the latest ways to educate your child. The teachers are always in constant discussion with one another on how to improve their teaching style and sent for seminars to see what else we can do to provide better education to your child.

What are your goals for my child once they leave Holy Angels School?

We have specific development and academic goals that we follow as a guideline when your child leaves our school. We believe that when your child goes to another school, he or she is mentally and academically well prepared both in international and local school.  For more details, please feel free to contact our staff or drop by our school.

Are all the Holy Angels school branches the same or different? 

​

We currently have two Holy Angels school branches in jakarta, one located in west Jakarta, and another one in central Jakarta.  At our west Jakarta branch, we have preschool, kindergarten and primary school. Whereas at our central Jakarta  branch, we currently offer preschool and kindergarten education. Both branches provides standardised curriculum with localised style of implementation. As long as the core values are respected, we encourage innovative methods so that they can learn from each other.
